i drew the original with uniballs and felt tip drawing pens.

as an experiment i took it into photoshop and decided to composit it for fun. something i wanted to do for a long, long time.

There is a photo starfield in the bg. on top of it is a black to grey gradient layer at multiply. i drew a white outline around the mothership and then duplicated the layer. i applied motion blur on both layers - the top one has a more extreme blur but at a lowered opacity.
